Hey, hi, hello! I’m Kate.
From a young age, my parents could tell that I wasn’t going to become a doctor.
I was the kid who brought home the Funniest in Class award at the end of the school year, and the kid whose parents regularly heard “She’s a joy to have in class, but she can be distracting at times.” Admittedly, I was more interested in making up stories for my friends than I was in long division. However, one teacher gave me a notebook so I could write my stories down and share them with my friends after class. And that was it for me, I’ve been hooked on the art of storytelling ever since.
I’ve spent my career working with household brands and crafting consumer journeys designed to be as unique as the people receiving them. In my free time, I’m working on my first novel and even have a few short pieces in the works — check ‘em out in the stories tab!
You can usually find me haunting the Detroit coffee shop scene, or working from my studio space at the Fisher Building.
